Hello NXP team,

I was thinking that the new LPC51U68 seems a perfect choice for implementing a USB debugger device to access other microcontrollers via JTAG or SWD according to CMSIS-DAP specifications. The focus on USB device, the number of FLEXCOMM interfaces, high-speed GPIO and small LQFP packages make it really ideal for this application.

In addition, ARM gives the code for CMSIS-DAP debugger that can be easily adapted to other microcontrollers. But I see LPC51U68 is not supported yet.

https://github.com/ARMmbed/DAPLink

NXP has plans of using this chip as the default debugger for their eval kits in the future?

Best regards,
