The sample project implements a smart card reader that conforms to ISO/IEC 7816 protocol.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11121.zip

Hope it helps!

Best Regards,
Carlos Mendoza
Technical Support Engineer

Hi

I want to use lpc1168 MCU for read/writing to/from V2.2.2 standard javacard,

As you know required clock signal is not produced by ISO7816 peripheral and match timer needed for generating this signal,I have 3 question:

1- As I tested match timer is not able to produce 3.5 mhz clock signal required for initialization steps,1mhz is best result I can generate,is there any one could achieve higher frequency?

2- As I know clock signal is used only for synchronization data ,then data must be fully synchronized with clock signal ,but how this is possible in lpc11XX?I mean match timer generate clock signal automatically, and I send data over IO pin,but how could I synchronized transmitted IO data with generated clock pin ?

3- Is there any tested ISO7816 sample, there are a sample for lpc11u14 which does not work and does not generate valid data ?
