Can LPC4078 GPIO invert before UART receive?

I want to invert an incoming signal before entering my UART on the LPC4078. Can anyone confirm that the LPC4078, thru use of the D_IOCON register, bit 6 "INV", can invert this signal before it enters the UART RX peripheral? I've done this on the LPC812 before, but have not used the LPC4078 before...

The 'INV' feature is available when pin selects UART RX function, and you can give it a try
