First of all, I assume that you know that LPCXpresso IDE with LPC-Link2 will work natively on Mac OS X ?

Its also worth saying that our own experience of VirtualBox on Mac OS X was not very positive, from the USB support side of things (though that was a while ago). Our Mac OSX users now generally use VMWare, and increasingly Parallels to run Windows on Macs.

But that aside, try going through : LPC-Link2 fails to enumerate with CMSIS-DAP firmware

Its also possible that pre-programming the Link2 probe firmware rather than letting the IDE softload it might help : LPC-Link2 Debug Probe firmware programming

Regards,

LPCXpresso Support
