The 8K limit is the default in this tool if the tool isn't registered. Go to help &amp;gt; activate from the menu of the IDE to do this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Again, MCUXpresso IDE doesn't need this ...       <title>53: License does not permit flash operations from command line</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi David,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;you didn't specify the tool used, but I am guessing LPCXpresso IDE? If so it could be that you are trying to flash an image of &amp;gt;256KB, which would require a Pro license. I would recommend moving to MCUXpresso IDE which provides the same functionality&amp;nbsp;(assuming you are using a Cortex-M device) and does not impose any code size limits in the free version.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Brendon&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Also, some virus checkers do not allow the script engine to run. Regarding virus checker, my colleague has same virus checker as me and it works fine in his PC.
