    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Could please tell me whether I can use time on STEP5 of below sequence on LPC4357.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are 9 STEP on chapter 13.2.2.1 of UM10503&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;STEP5: wait for the PLL1 to lock.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to make a code to&amp;nbsp;detect when it is long time to lock PLL1.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And system go back to work on internal clock.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bet Regards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Iwao Mizota.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Iwao Mizota,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Yes, if you like, you can use the timer to wait the PLL1 to lock instead of using the while to wait.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; But one point you should take care, the chapter you mentioned, is using the IRC as the BASE_M4_CLK source, and this BASE_M4_CLK also the timer's(Timer0/1/2/3) base clock.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; You should make sure when the timer is working, the BASE_M4_CLK is not changed.
