Content originally posted in LPCWare by giusloq on Thu Apr 16 02:25:45 MST 2015
lpcopen_2_10_lpcxpresso_nxp_lpcxpresso_1769.zip comes with an example of UART peripheral. In README.txt I read:

Special connection requirements
[...]
- LPCXpresso LPC1769:
Need to connect with base board for using RS232/UART port.

I can't understand. Where is the UART port used in the examle? I see the port is UART3, but where is it? Is there a virtual serial port on USB connection to LPC-Link?
