I am trying to get data from the slave but I noticed that the time between each frame is quite a lot (around 20us) which doesn't suite my application. I tried using interrupts as well but the time doesn't change that much. The frame size is 16 bits so the whole frame should take around 1us but I dont know where other 18-19us are wasted at. Does anybody have a clue? Am I missing something?

Taha
