Debug off board Target using the LPCXpresso824-MAX?

I picked up one of these assuming it was possible. Should have researched this a bit further since now it doesn't appear possible. I have a target board with a LPC822 on it I'd like to do some initial debugging on. Can I disable the LPC824 on the eval board and run SWD, SWCLK, and Reset to my target?

Schematic shows a SWD target connector :O
If you cut the traces from target connector to the target this connector should be able to debug another target :)

That's what I was thinking. I have to develop a small app very quickly. I'll order the LPC link-2 but I may just hack the xpresso824 board for the weekend. I have two of them, so... no big loss if I trash it. I guess the only question is is if the debugger is somehow locked to the target part on the board. I know that some of the boards from NXP's soon to be partner do that.

Yes. It works. ;-) 3 small cuts on the back of the board (SWDIO, SWDCLK and RESET) and the 10 pin header plugged into my target. I will definitely order an LPC Link 2, but at least I can work until it gets here and I don't have to pay for overnight shipping.

Apparently the force was with me!
