Hi.

I'm trying to upload some program on LPC4313(LQFP144, no devboard) using LPC-Link2.

I'm using LPCXpresso 8.0.0 IDE and JTAG/SWD pin J6 on LPC-Link2.

In this situation,

1. should I short J1 on LPC-Link2?

2. What pin is the main power on LPC4313? (VDD(VDDA, VBAT), VSS(VSSIO) is right?)

3.Is it right to set up the emulator selection in debugger configuration as CMISIS-DAP?

4. What LPC-Link2 firmware is right(In LPC-Link2 Configurarion Tool)?

When I set up the debugger connection in debugger configuration as JTAG with CMISIS-DAP emulator

and debug, 'JTAG configuration - No available devices found' error occured.

How should I set up the configuration LPC-Link2, LPCXpresso IDE for uploading program on a LPC4313?

If you leave JP1 open, then the LPCXpresso IDE will soft-load appropriate probe firmware into your LPC-Link2 the first time you debug after powering up.

If you really want to pre-program the firmware into your LPC-Link2, then use LPCScrypt - as described in:

In 99.99% of cases, there is no need to manually select setting yourself in the launch configurations, as LPCXpresso IDE will automatically generate the required settings based on the probe it auto-detects in your system. Please read the supplied documentation for more details.

First of all, thanks for your reply.

I understand what you saying, and I set up the LPCXpresso IDE and LPC-Link2 debugger tool.

And I designed rightly SWD/JTAG pull-up/pull-down resistor referring to site(https://www.lpcware.com/content/faq/lpcxpresso/debug-desig).

But, I can't still connect LPC4313 core using JTAG or SWD.

On the other hand, I succeed in debugging with LPC4088 core.

I use same debugging tool and SWD/JTAG circuit design.

I will use IRC(12Mhz internal clock) in LPC4313, so I don't connect any XTAL, RTCX. Is it matter?

I have been attempted debug with two LPC 4313 core, one LPC 4330 core, but all attempt failed to connect.

What's the matter?

Given the very little information you have provided, it is diffuclt to say, but I would start by looking at power.

Yeah. I thinks so too.

When I attempt to connect JTAG with J6 of LPC-Link2, LPCXpresso can't connect to the core.

But, When I connect JTAG with J7(10 pin IDE connect), I succeed in debugging LPC4313 core.

I think that 3.3V VTref connection is the key point.

Because the difference between successful case and the other is only 3.3V power(VTref) connection.

When I connect the core using J6, I use 3.3V power with first pin in J6.
