A new version of the LPCXpresso IDE, to be released very very soon, fully supports LPC4357.

Just to expand on this response, the LPC4357 is already fully supported in the current LPCXpresso 5.2.6, but only using the original LPC-Link (or Red Probe+), not via LPC-Link2. There have been a number of threads about this recently ,if you browse or search the forum.

Hi,

This page says Redlink already is supported by LPCXpresso 5:

Maybe that is just a typo?

It is supported. I am happily using an LPC-Link2 with LPCXpresso IDE here. But the LPC-Link2 functionality in LPCXpresso just doesn't support LPC18/43 as a target MCU yet. - as stated in the FAQ that LPCXpresso Support pointed you at.

I presume that you are asking if LPCXpresso 6 supports the use of LPC-Link2 to connect LPC18/43 targets - the answer to this is yes.
