Hello,

When changing build settings in LPCXpresso I receive a lot of error messages like the following:
c:/nxp/lpcxpresso_7.9.0_455/lpcxpresso/tools/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-none-eabi/4.9.3/../../../../arm-none-eabi/bin/ld.exe: BFD (GNU Tools for ARM Embedded Processors) 2.24.0.20150604 assertion fail /home/build/work/GCC-4-9-build/src/binutils/bfd/elf32-arm.c:7696

It doesn't matter what kind of changes to settings I apply, leading me to suspect a bug in LPCXpresso?

LPCXpresso v7.9.0 is being used

In order to assist, we need to preferably see a buildable project that shows up the problme, or at least see the link line from your build log:

It would also help to know exactly what build settings you changed that triggered the problem.
