LPC Microcontrollers中的主题 VDD pins

Content originally posted in LPCWare by IanB on Sat Dec 20 09:27:01 MST 2014
I don't think it says in the data sheet that BOTH Vdd pins must be connected for the IC to function - if it does, then I can't find it.
I've just found out the hard way! (and, I've also found out that attaching a wire to one pin of a FHN33 package is also just a little tricky!)

A quick test with a continuity tester shows that pin 6 is not connected to pin 29 on the FHN33 package.

If this is the case, then how should I interpret the limiting values for Idd in the data sheet - it says "100mA maximum per supply pin". If various parts of the IC are supplied from the two different pins, how would I which Vdd pins was supplying the load?
