Content originally posted in LPCWare by cfgardiner on Wed Jan 07 09:30:50 MST 2015
Hi,

I am using an LPC1837 in a customer project. The project uses the UARTs and SPI but is otherwise a non-standard USB device (medical). Since I have no other use for the Audio PLL I wanted to use this to generate the 48 MHz base clock I want to use for the UART and SPI1 APB buses. External clock is 12 MHz. However the values for MDIV and NDIV suggested by the PLL_Dialog tool available in the lpcware 'Tools' section seem to be complete junk. Is there a new updated version of the tool available or can I use the audio PLL for this purpose at all?

Thanks,
Charles
