    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Content originally posted in LPCWare by mattiad on Thu Oct 16 05:40:36 MST 2014&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi everyone,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm having some problems during the switching on phase of a LPC11C14 microprocessor.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;In my context I supply the micro with 3.3V but I have a supply voltage that has a long rise time (caused by the kind of supplying devices). &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;RESET pin is connected in a "classical" way in a RC filter which is connected to the supply voltage (see the picture attached).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Sometimes the delay caused by the RC is not enough and the micro exits from the reset mode too early and the micro results totally blocked.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;To solve this problem without an hardware modification I wolud like to put an additional delay in the reset port, for example of 200/300 ms.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I mean: if the reset port sense the logic state 1, it give the command to exit from the reset only 300 ms later.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Thank you in advance,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Mattia&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
