    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Having trouble connecting to a target using SWD with the supplied cable.&lt;BR /&gt;The target works perfectly well with a Red Probe+.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't have any jumpers closed (J1/J2 open) and the target is an LPC1769&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am connecting using the J7 Connector (label at the back (Targed SWD/Jtag)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The error message received is :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;LPCXpresso RedlinkMulti Driver v8.0 (Nov 17 2015 10:18:17 - crt_emu_cm_redlink build 556)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Found chip XML file in D:/SOBD_SW-master/DS_DEBUG_UI/SOBD_DEBUG/Debug/LPC1769.xml&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Failed on connect: Ee(36). Could not connect to core.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No connection to emulator device&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check your debug/reset circuitry against : &lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/thread/388998"&gt;Design Considerations for Debug&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Given that you say your target works with a Red Probe+, take particular note of the section "Logic Levels and Ground":&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="padding-left: 30px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;With JP2 open the target must supply the VTref to power the target side of the dual-supply buffer&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;LPCXpresso Support&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
