Can't Find Kinetis Protocol Decoder Software for USB-KW41Z

Hi all,

I am trying to follow the instructions here to setup wireshark to run with with the USB-KW41Z I just ordered. https://community.nxp.com/t5/Wireless-Connectivity-Knowledge/Use-the-USB-KW41-Wireshark-for-Thread-Sniffing/ta-p/1127112

About half way through the article, it tells me to download the Kinetic Protocol Analyzer here: https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=KINETIS-PRTCL-ANALYZER-ADAPTER&appType=license&location=null&fsrch=1&sr=4&pageNum=1&Parent_nodeId=&Parent_pageType=

However, that page just says: "We are unable to complete your software download request at this time due to a system outage. Please try your download at a later time. We apologize for the inconvenience." I have checked back multiple times over the last few days since my first try, but I still see this error. Is there any other way I can download this software?

Hi TIC,

Thank you for your help. I have installed that linked file that includes the KPAA installer. However, one of the first steps is to install a TAP-Windows adapter - see the attached screenshot from running the installer. When I click on that "Download and manually install TAP-Windows Adapter", it takes me to a website that is shut down. I tried typing in the URL that is displayed in the message just to confirm, and it appears to be the same link that is shut down.

Are you able to also supply the TAP adapter that is needed. I am on a Windows 10 machine.

Apologies, there was a network issue on my side causing the download issue. I was able to install the TAP adapter and install KPAA.
