Is there any chance NXP would consider allowing for more collaborative development of device drivers and SDK code in github?

It seems like it would be a benefit to anyone working on Kinetis or LPC devices to have faster access to upstream code changes via a platform like Github, and any helpful modifications would also be easier to pull back in from the community...

I mention this because of another question I just asked, in which case it would be pretty easy to create a pull request for changes I could make that would benefit others.

One can also see the benefits of this model working for the rapidly-evolving mbed platform.
