Hi,

I am using both the FRDM-KL27Z and FRDM-KL43Z boards, but both boards are running incorrectly with the provided power mode switch project.

I measured the current consumption from RUN mode, which is approx. 5.87mA, then i switched to either normal STOP mode or VLPS mode, both came out 2.75mA. This current consumption even higher than the VLPW mode.

Is there any problem with the projects?

Hi, Gilbert,

If you connect the debugger of tools to test the current consumption, the debugger can wake up the processor.

In conclusion, I suggest you test the current consumption without debugger, for example, you can use hardware button to make the chip enter the low power mode, then test the power consumption.

Hi Xiangjun,

I re-used this example and applied to my device, but I have something to wakeup my MCU. In fact, I am running with FreeRTOS V8.2.3 and I am suspecting my MCU wakes up by the FreeRTOS interrupt. Do you have any advise on how to integrate this with FreeRTOS? Please kindly advise. Thank you.
