    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Gentlebeings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just saw this announcement (&lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://community.nxp.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Flinuxgizmos.com%2Fzephyr-a-tiny-open-source-iot-rtos%2F" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;http://linuxgizmos.com/zephyr-a-tiny-open-source-iot-rtos/&lt;/A&gt;) on Slashdot discussing the Zephyr RTOS (&lt;A _jive_internal="true" href="https://community.nxp.com/external-link.jspa?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zephyrproject.org%2Fcontent%2Fzephyr-kernel-v100-release-notes" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.zephyrproject.org/content/zephyr-kernel-v100-release-notes&lt;/A&gt;).&amp;nbsp; What caught my eye is that a) it's been implemented for the FRDM-K64F and b) that it can be as small as 10k.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm experimenting with freeRTOS and for my product, I want to use it along with USB CDC or HID and the FatFs on a 128k Flash sized K22F and things are looking very tight for implementing logic with it.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanx,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;myke&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Myke, &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you can imagine, Zephyr is still in its infancy. The 1.0 push that is now accessible does have some K64 support, but it's far from a full platform at this time. I'd continue down the FrerRTOS path that you're on for now and keep an eye on Zephyr as it matures.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jason&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
