hello

what is the major difference between KDS3.0 and KDS 3.2?

i assume both these IDE'S are backward compatible (i.e 3.2 is compatible with 3.0).

please highlight the basic difference between the two versions.

KDS 3.2 is basically a KDS 3.0 with all the updates/addons, see NXP Kinetis Design Studio v3.2.0 | MCU on Eclipse

Other than that, have a look at the release notes in <install>\doc\KDS_Release_notes.pdf.

In a nutshell, they are compatible, but I recommend to use 3.2.0.
