Where is the Segger OpenOCD bootloader available?

In the Kinetis Design Studio 3.2.0 Release Notes, section 2.4 under "Installing on Macintosh", the docs have this important looking note:

NOTE
Currently only the Segger debugger works on MAC OSX. If you are using Freedom boards, ensure that you have the Segger OpenOCD firmware installed on the board which can be found on http://www.freescale.com/freedom and look for your particular freedom board’s getting started page.

The problem is that http://www.freescale.com/freedom redirects to http://www.nxp.com/products/software-and-tools/hardware-development-tools/freedom-development-boards:FREDEVPLA?tid=vanFREEDOM. From there, looking under the getting started page for the FRDM-KL27Z (http://www.nxp.com/products/software-and-tools/hardware-development-tools/freedom-development-boards/freedom-development-platform-for-kinetis-kl17-and-kl27-mcus:FRDM-KL27Z?tab=In-Depth_Tab), there's no mention of the Segger OpenOCD firmware.

But perhaps I don't need the Segger OpenOCD firmware after all? According to the BOOTLOADER:SDA_INFO.html file, the firmware in my FRDM-KL27Z is:

Is this good enough for the Segger JLink? If not, where do I find a fresh bootloader?

Hello Robert,

Please select the OpenSDA firmware for Segger Jlink at here :

OpenSDA Serial and Debug Adapter|NXP

After you choose "Segger Jlink V1" , you will run into Seeger website ,

SEGGER - The Embedded Experts - Downloads - J-Link / J-Trace

then you can download the firmware, please use it update your bootloader.
