Hi Jace,

there is code collapsing/folding (see Eclipse Folding | MCU on Eclipse ), but not with such lines.

What you are asking for is discussed in Vertical line between matching curly braces for java in eclipse - Stack Overflow , and it mentions the Plugin IntentGuide (IndentGuide ) which does what you wants, but I have not tried it.
