I am using the KDS 3.2.0 and currently have nice working project built using the processor expert based on the MKE202Z64VLC4. I want to change it from this 64K Flash memory part to the MKE202Z16VLC4 version (which is the 16K variant). However, I have not found a way to change it. The two devices are the same with the exception of the 16K versus 64K one. Is there a way to change it in the KDS? (It would be time consuming to start all over again).

Thanks,

Bill

You can change the pinout in the CPU component like this: https://mcuoneclipse.com/2012/08/16/changing-the-cpu-with-processor-expert/ (description for ColdFire, but same applies to Kinetis/ARM).

Another one on this subject is here: https://mcuoneclipse.com/2016/06/25/switching-the-microcontroller-package-device-and-family/

I hope this helps,

Erich
