Reset without erasing and programming

I'm using KDS 3.2 with PE Multilink Universal (the green one)

How can we do a reset and restart the application whithout erasing and re-programming (green bug icon)

This was possible with CW and it's missing and embarrassing in KDS.

Hi David,

In the Debug Configurations... dialog box, I simply Duplicate the working PEMicro configuration and append a new name.

Ex:

Then I goto the Startup tab, and de-select the "Load executable" check box so the flash is not erased and reprogrammed.

Ex:

Click Apply, and then Debug.

Now this configuration will reset and restart your application each time.

Same process works with JLink too.

Hi,

in addition, during debugging code, we can restart a program by click on restart button as below:

it can restart a progress or debug target without terminating and re-launching.
