A student approached me several days ago with the same problem (Windows 8, if this matters) and USB 3.0. Changing to a USB 2.0 port helped. Not sure if USB 3.0 is a problem on your side.

You say you re-installed the drivers? Did you remove them from the device manager?

What might be an alternative route if you try the Segger J-Link driver for the FRDM-KL25Z?

I have been using FRDM-KL25Z with the KDS 1.0.1 and updated KDS to 1.1.1 two days ago.

Ever since, even though the debug driver and OpenSDA ports are installed as shown in the following picture, I do not have the port when I tried to set Debug Configuration.

Does anyone know what is happening?

Yes, I tried several times. Even rebooting, uninstalling and re-installing all the drivers and software did not solve the issue. :smileysad: Thanks for your reply though.
