The KDS one is mostly based on stock Eclipse and other open source components, so easier (in my view) to tweak for any custom devices or needs. The future will tell how the new NXP solution will look like, but as of today, you can merge them together yourself too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Erich&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Erich,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; yes, I mean this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The merged system works, but not all is ok, particularly for the selection of devices and drivers for debug probes&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The actual situation is as our discussion in last May.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think that since Freescale and NXP now are the same thing, may be that in the near future there will be an unified tool,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Giovanni&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
