Kinetis Design Studio IDE

I just downloaded Kinetis Design Studio IDE. I want to use the KL27Z parts and the FRDM-KL27Z board, but they are not listed in processor/board list. Is there a patch/update for this family of parts? If not, what is the closest other family to work with from a hardware/code standpoint?

Additional devices are supported with the Kinetis SDK.

See "For full/additional device support" in New Kinetis Design Studio V3.0.0 available

Ok, thanks for that link. I am not able to do the Help>Install New Software successfully however. I get the messages in the attached screenshot. Is there a step that I need to perform before this, or maybe I need to reinstall the KDS?

I have seen such things with either slow or unreliable internet connections.

Maybe you can disable 'contact all update sites' (see Workaround for “Installing Software has encountered a problem” in Eclipse | MCU on Eclipse ) if this has a positive effect?
