How to add a board to Kinetis Design Studio

When I create a new "Kinetis Design Studio Project," only the K64F board is listed. How can I add the K22F board, which I am using, to Kinetis Design Studio?

Hi Eduardo,

Boards and new devices are added to KDS with the Kinetis SDK.

So download the K22F Kinetis SDK (SDK V1.0.0) from www.freescale.com/ksdk, then install it.

Use in KDS the menu Help > Install New software and use the zip file from

C:\Freescale\KSDK_1.0.0\tools\eclipse_update

Eduardo,

Also remember to follow instructions for building the platform driver library (see the appropriate section in the Kinetis SDK K22 User's Guide). You may already have been aware of this, but it was a huge source of frustration to me getting started with my K22F board.

The TRK-KEA Boards are not supported by KDS?
