&lt;P&gt;I understand that you are not longer having this issue, and yes, that is an interesting trick to save time.       <title>C Build type set to External</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Several times in past years I've noticed Kinetis start compiling all my C code, not just the modified files. I tracked it down to Builder Type was being set to External Build, which I would never do deliberately. It was easy to repair, but hard to find.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
