Hi, I am new at Freescale, I used to worked with T.I. but it's dificult to find open source tools for my projects, so I would like to know if here is the place where I can find tools for Liux (Ubuntu) open source for embedded systems where I can compile and flash in easy ways, not with just close-source programas and comunication protocols.

I am developing a proyect that needs a microcontroller and a digital signal controller, so Can anybody suggest me some integrated circuits that I can use, and the tools for development (I always use C for programming by the way)?

Thanks,

Daniel
