Hello @kehanopni

Thanks for your question.

The MCX series is a new NXP general-purpose MCU family that further extends NXP’s highly scalable MCU portfolio for industrial and IoT applications. It combines the features of the legacy LPC and Kinetis families, while offering larger memory and a richer set of peripherals.

NXP will continue to support the Kinetis and LPC families.

For new applications, I highly recommend choosing the MCX series: MCX Arm Cortex-M Industrial and IoT MCUs | NXP Semiconductors

Thank you.

Seems like Kinetis has taken over and LPC is left to rot? (People will keep buying for old designs for years or even decades, myself included.) The exciting new product lines all have Kinetis parentage?
