&lt;P&gt;Thanks for you post. &lt;SPAN&gt;For Kinetis, its FLEXCAN module does not support CAN FD. As far as I know, the MCX A/MCX N/iMXRT 106x series' FLEXCAN is extended to support CAN-FD. Please refer to &lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-RT-Crossover-MCUs/i-MX-RT-s-with-CAN-FD-vs-FlexCAN/td-p/1230624" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Solved: i.MX RT's with CAN-FD (vs. FlexCAN) - NXP Community&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If the customer wants more specific information, they can compare the RM of the KV series with that of the imxRT106x series.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;we are using mkv based controller. it has 2 flex can.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to know, what is difference between Flex CAN and CAN FD and whether "Flex CAN" can be used to configure CAN FD(so that we can send 64 bytes at a time in our controller)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
