      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Where are implemented FTM capabilities documented?&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In Kinetis K64F Sub-Family Data Sheet it lists 4 FTM:&lt;BR /&gt;• Two 8-channel Flex-Timers (PWM/Motor control)&lt;BR /&gt;• Two 2-channel FlexTimers (PWM/Quad decoder)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Which FTM have what capabilities?&lt;BR /&gt;Do all FTM have quadrature decoder?&lt;BR /&gt;I can't seem to find this in the documentation...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;BR /&gt;Best Regards, Dave&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Dave,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Not all of the FTMs have quadrature decoders.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The two 2-channel FTMs (FTM1 and FTM2) each have a quadrature decoder.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The two 8-channel FTMs (FTM0 and FTM3) each have a 3-phase motor and 2 general purpose or stepper motors.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In case you need any more information on the K64F, I think the K64 Sub-Family Reference Manual is the document you were missing. You mentioned the data sheet but not the reference manual in your post so I wanted to make sure you had access to both.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here is the link to the K64F on the NXP website:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-microcontrollers/general-purpose-mcus/k-series-cortex-m4/k6x-ethernet/kinetis-k64-120-mhz-256-kb-sram-microcontrollers-mcus-based-on-arm-cortex-m4-core:K64_120" target="_blank"&gt;https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-microcontrollers/general-purpose-mcus/k-series-cortex-m4/k6x-ethernet/kinetis-k64-120-mhz-256-kb-sram-microcontrollers-mcus-based-on-arm-cortex-m4-core:K64_120&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At the bottom of the page there is a section with all of the documentation for this device. The document I used to answer your question was the “Kinetis K64: 120MHz Cortex-M4F up to 1MB Flash 100-144pin” under reference manuals.
