&lt;P&gt;Each type or version of the MCU has its own mask which corresponds to the entire circuitry of the MCU. This mask set corresponds to the errata list which can be considered when MCU is used. Please refer to the following Mask Set Errata &lt;A title="Mask Set Errata for Mask 1N86B" href="https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/errata/KINETIS50MHZ_1N86B.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;1N86B&lt;/A&gt; and &lt;A title="Mask Set Errata for Mask 3N86B" href="https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/errata/KINETIS50MHZ_3N86B.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;3N86B&lt;/A&gt; to check the differences between them and if it is compatible with your application.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I own 2 different mask sets of MK20DX128VLF5 : 1N86B and 3N86B.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My system is working on the 3N86B. Should I expect problems when I switch to the 1N86B version?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I know the differences between the two mask sets?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
