Hi

In the K32W061/K32W041 User Manual (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/UM11323.pdf) it is mentioned how to setup the MCU to disable SWD at boot.

I cannot seem to find similar information about the MKW41Z/31Z/21Z, specifically the MKW31Z (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/MKW41Z512.pdf). Is it the same/other procedure, or is it not an available feature for the MKWX1Z family?

Thanks

Hi @Angletown,

I hope you are doing great.

The K32W and KW31, in this case, are completely different.

However, you could disable the SWD pins, you could create a routine that selects a different pin functionality in those pins.

Remember, it will be a problem to connect with the debugger after you have disabled the pins.

I am not sure if you want to protect your memory flash, but you could look at the next AN.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN4507.pdf

Regards,

Mario
