Thanks for your reply. Is it assured that no MK60 can have 111 as FAMID-Value? Or is there any other possibility to distinguish MK60 from MK61, maybe by some other register with different reset values?

Hi,
In my firmware I need to distinguish a MK60 from a MK61 device.
This should be no problem via the FAMID field in the SIM->SDID-Register.
Unfortunately I have some samples of my PCB with an MK61 controller, mask 3B96N, where the FAMID-field reports "111" instead of "010". Another sample with 5B96N mask does not have this problem.
Is there any possibility to get the correct identification on the 3B96N devices?
Thanks for your support!

Regards,
Georg Schmidt

The FAMID can not be updated, it should be 010 unless you have the very first samples from the mask set 3N96B

would be possible that you share to with me a picture of the body mark of this part?

Thanks for the information the part has a date code 2012 week 50 that is why it has the FAMID = 111

this part is one of the first parts for the kinetis k61.

Sorry but this register (FAMID) con not be updated

Have a good day

No the K60 should not have the 111 on the FAMID
