Ethernet Module Clock on MKV58F1M0VLQ24

Hello,

In the reference manual of the KV5XP144M240RM (MKV58F1M0VLQ24 µC in my case) it is stated in table 6-1. Module clocks in chapter 6.5 Module clocks, that the ethernet module uses:

System (CPU) clock
Bus/Flash clock

as Bus interface clock.
As I already observed, that the systemclock e.g. is affecting the MDC for the PHY interface, I now wonder what is the correlation between the Ethernet Module and the Bus/Flash clock?

How does this clock affect the Ethernet Module?
I didn't find any information about this correlation besides the mentioned table in the reference manual.

Here bus/flash clock is used to read/write register in Ethernet module.
