HI.

Use UART1 by connecting the RS485 driver IC to the outside. Is it necessary to disable open drain when using it with the UART function (I don't use it as an open drain)?
Pin Control Register n (PORTx_PCRn). 5 ODE --- Open Drain Enable

Hi,

I think it is base on what RS485 interface chip do you use. If you select MAX3485 for example, DI & RD is not open drain. So you can't set it to open drain mode.
