Hello All,

Im trying out a MKE04Z8. I'm trying to enter debug mode/Program but getting the following message:

Error in services launch sequence
PEmicro GDB Launch Failure : The GDB Server was not able to establish a connection to the target processor. Please check your connections and power. Verify that the launch settings in the Debug Configuration are accurate.

I have a 10kR pull down on SWD_CLK, a 1.3kR Pull up on Reset, a 4.7kR pull up on PTB4 ( according to his thread https://community.nxp.com/t5/Kinetis-Microcontrollers/Cannot-program-the-MKE04Z8/m-p/445600 ).

The board doesn't have anything else right now beside a 100nF decoupling capacitor between VDD and VSS and the programming connector with those resistors.

I'm using MCUXpresso IDE v11.2.1 and PE Micro Multilink Universal.

Any idea about what could be the issue ?

Thank you.

Best Regards,

BD
