i am new to freescale .here on site they write that kinetics l series is ultra low power series but i go through data sheet that at normal run mode current consmption is nearly 6mA its really huge so is there any freescale controller which has consumption in uA at normal run mode with one 12 bit dac and one i2c please suggest name

Hi, Karan

We do not have such a microcontroller which can work in normal run mode with uA level power consumption. But I think you system can work in LLS mode and wake up when MCU need do DAC and I2C operation. This is a normal solution in low power consumption application.

Hope my reply can help you.

Best Regards

Paul

hi

if you are looking at selecting a controller then look at the kinetis L series.

Still your current requirement is difficult to meet with most of the controllers in the market.

We can use a combination of low power modes and VLPR(Very low power run ) to meet your current requirements

this needs an understanding of your application to get the right combination of modes to meet your current req. Their will be no straight mode to meet your req.
