If using the P&E default firmware, you only can program a microcontroller of the same type, see Using the Freedom Board as SWD Programmer | MCU on Eclipse

An option would be to use USBDM, see Debug External Processors with USBDM and Freedom Board | MCU on Eclipse , or see here more on this topic: Using the Freescale Freedom (FRDM-KL43Z) to Debug other Boards | MCU on Eclipse

I hope this helps,

Erich

Thank you for your help.

It cut J11 as shown in the FRDM-KL25Z user's manual and connected to SWDCLK and SWDDIO of the MCU outside the board.
The external MCU is MKM14Z64ACHH5.

If you set the debugger to PE-micro from EWARM of IAR and write to flash
First, when the PEMICRO Connection Manager screen appears and press Connect, an error message appears.

Error 17926. Target Type MCU mismatch. Unexpected processor detected. Aborting debug sesion.

① Does OpenSDA of FRDM-KL25Z check the CPU, and an MCU different from the KL25Z in the board causes an error?
② Is there a way to avoid this error and erase / write the external MKM14Z64ACHH5?

Thanks for your instruction.
