topic GPIO at 1.4V - KEA-128 in Kinetis Microcontrollers

Hi,

I am running 2 KEA128's at 3.2 V by giving VDD externally so that all the GPIO's are at 3.2v. I am using the dev boards(TRK-KEA128 boards).

From Board 1, I give input to Board 2. I make the input to board 2 from board 1 as high and low. I see that after making inputs high and low to board 2 for sometime, The voltage on board1 and board2 becomes 1.5 V while it is supposed to be zero on the corresponding pins. But if i remove the connection between the pins both pins on board 1 and board 2 are zero but if i connect it back they go to 1.5 V. Can anyone explain me the reason for this?
