We are trying to design a custom board for access control using K81 secure controller. Here I wish to add two USB interfaces,One as MicroUSB (for device, can be used to power the board) and other as Type A USB(for Host). Plz. suggest how it can be done as I observes only single USB connection in controller.
Looking forward for early inputs.

Hi

The K81 has one LS/FS USB controller.

You could use a dummy device connector just for charging and connect an OTG connector for host/device operations.

Alternatively you may be able to connect the USB wires to two connectors as long as only one is connected at a time - in this case you may need a configuration to switch between device and host modes.

Regards

Mark
