TWR-KV58F SDK

Hi,

I am trying to build SDK for TWR-K58F220M and found I can't run the BLDC demo example.

I found there is no rtcesl library in my SDK.

Could you tell me if you remove it from SDK and how to download it?

Yes. I can download the library now. And I have the other problem.

After I downloaded the latest SDK for TWR-KV58F, I can't use the latest SDK to build the new project now.

It does not support KDS 3.2.0 for now? Which IDE should I use?

As you know that you can select the tools for example MCU Expresso, KDS, IAR....as the following figure when you Build the downloaded package.

Hi Xiangjun,

yes. I selected SDK that is the same option I used to download SDK 2.0.

When I use Wizard 2.X to generate the my project, it is OK with SDK 2.0, but it didn't work with SDK 2.2.

The problem is when I select SDK2.2, it is not allowed to go next...

I tried to download SDk2.2 twice and the same result...

Can you try on your side?

Yes, I have downloaded the package and unzip it to a directory. It seems that all example are based on IAR tools although I select KDS tools when I build.

Hi, Christie,

The current SDK2.2 for TWR-K58F220M does NOT support KDS tools, pls refer to the lines:

All demo applications and driver examples are provided with projects for the following toolchains:
– IAR Embedded Workbench
– Keil MDK
– MCUXpresso IDE

which is listed at page 1 in MCUXpresso SDK API Reference Manual_MKV58F24.pdf.

Hi Xinagjun,

I downloaded latest SDK 2.2 for TWR-KV58. The samples work fine with KDS3.2.0. The only problem is that I can't use Wizard 2.x to build the new project by select SDK 2.2.

1) Is there any big difference between KDS3.2.0 and MCUXprsso IDE?

2) The earlier project built on KDS 3.2.0 will work in new IDE?
