Hi Mark,

The S9KEAZ64AMLH and S9KEAZN64AMLH are different chips. For the customer using FRDM-KEAZ64, the chip on that board is S9KEAZ64AMLH. So they need read the KEA128RM.

The part numbers are very similar, sorry for this confusion.

Best Regards,

Robin

Hi All

According to the circuit diagram of the FRDM-KEAZ64Q64 the processor is an S9KEAZ64AMLH, which is handled by the user's manual "9KEA64Z64M20SF0RM".
However the processor runs too quickly (FLL is faster than expected) and also the SIM_SCGC is not at the expected location.

If the user's manual "SKEA128Z80M48SF0RM" is however used as guide (would be correct for SKEAZ64AMLH) all works as expected.

Therefore, why is the chip in the circuit diagram and the marking on the chip on the board equal to the 40MHz S9KEAZ64AMLH, but behave as a 48MHz SKEAZ64AMLH ??? What is the source of this confusion?

Regards

Mark
