Do not working ethernet with kinetis K64 with KSZ8081RNACA

Hi everyone,

I have working software on FRDM K64 and I tried make own hardware - I inspired from FRDM K64 schematic. Now, I have issue with connection ethernet. Schematic is on attachment.

I tried read registers from KSZ8081RNACA - it is OK. When I connected cable, then it is not see any change. Any change on registers, any change on router.

Please, could you help me, how can I debug it and find issue?

Hi,

I think the hardware connection is okay. But pls check that the pin24 of KSZ8081 is Reset pin, you should connect a RC circuit as the FRDM-K64. For the connector of Ethernet, Pls check if there should be serial resistor for the LEDG- and LEDG+.

Hi,

thanks for your reply. When I compare schematic with FRDM k64F, then I don't see any RC circuit on the pin24 of KSZ8081.

And serial resistor for the LEDG can't affect detection of cable. And I think, that it is clear.

I tried change XTAL for PHY (25 MHz). It is OK. When xtal is not soldered on board, then kinetis not working too, because I am using 120 MHz clock for kinetis.

Now, I don't know, what have I do? Please help.
