Hi all,

I'm looking up in KV4x reference manual the way to connect internally the output of any of internal comparator TO any of pwm of eFlexPWM peripheral, working as input capture. In a first moment I tried to do this through the XBAR peripheral, but I don't see in the manual that this can be done. Anyone knows how to do this?

Thank you!

Hi, Asier,

As you kinow that the PWM_Xx pin can be used to capture function, but the pin is not connected to the internal crossbar switch.

I suppose that you can not route the on-chip comparator output to the capture pin of eFlexPWM module via internal crossbar switch. But you can connect the CMPx_OUT pad of thye KV chip to the PWMA_Xx or PWMB_Xx pin externaly by trace on PCB so that the CMP output signal can be captured by the eFlexPWM module. BTW, if the comparator output is not synchronized with PWM signals, you can use FTM module to capture the signal.

Hope it can help you

BR

Xiangjun Rong
