Kinetis Microcontrollers中的主题 DM-K22F board not booting

I recently received my frdm-k22f module from a distributor. When I plug it in, it does not behave like it should according to the quick start guide, so I assume that it has old software on it. The problem is, i can not even putty into the board, from my windows10 machine, it keeps outputting a text file that says "timed out". Is there anyway around this? I read that it may require a windows7 machine to boot, but I don't have any of these around anymore...
