Well, turns out I used wrong pin out for my j-link programming adapter...

Now, I guess, we know that the RESET pin is not required for SWD

and it does not matter if the analog section of the KM family powered

down.

Cheers.

Hi guys,

I've just finished a design of a board using MKM34Z256VLL7 and regretfully cannot program/debug it.

The SWD interface seems simple enough - all that it requires is Vtarget, GND, SWDIO and SWCLK.

However, I am not sure if it makes a use of RESET pin. Another thing is that the analog section on my

design is powered down.

So, I've got 2 questions:

1. Does SWD require RESET pin connected?

2. Does the micro have to be fully powered up, including the analog section in order to be programmed?

I presume it starts up with an internal oscillator (from the data sheet).

If anyone has any ideas please share...

Thank you very much.
